I have only checked the barcelo anejo price and it was 25 USD <shock > @ 12 26 2010

You can buy Barcelo Aniejo for 275 rd right in Bavaro. That is less than $8 US.

There is a store heading from the turn towards El Corcito on your right. Named La Jovilla, it is a green broken down building that wholesales liquor and cigarettes.

Best prices anywhere in the area. Duty free Rum is generally a rip off anyway.

This store sells Bailey's for 550rd, JW Black for 975rd and a carton on Marlboro is 875rd.

Just to add, they are closed for lunch every day from about 12-2pm.

Duty free at airport total rip off. I wanted to take over a nice bottle of Barcelo Anejo in a nice gift box, but ran out of time to buy so thought to grab bottle at airport - double the price.

It was about 600 pesos more or less in the stores here and EXACT same $45 at airport!!!
