Cabarete Public Wifi question

a) Does anyone know if and which of any of the public free wifi's in Carbarete are reliably speedy?

b) How about the internet cafes? Any one you would recommend? Also, am I allowed to take my laptop to one of these internet cafes and hook up to browse online? Or am I only allowed to use their computers?

Beachfront try Lax, onno's, voyvoy, Jose o'shays, and more for free wifi. You can surf the web while watching the surf. Speed in most cases is good enough for Skype or watching YouTube. I'd not plan to download a 2gb file in a sitting, though.

Other places with free wifi exist, you shouldn't have a problem if you're in center of town.

Very laptop friendly town.

Great. Thanks. If you guys are in Cabarete and see a young tanned male with a macbook surfing the web on the beach this next week, it's me.
