Best way to travel from POP to PUJ.

Hi, Going to Cabarete in December to see some friends, but don't want to stay the whole time there. Would like to rest in Punta Cana. for a few days. I tried to search a flight but can't find anything online.

I know I should search the threads but don't seem to find current info.

Bus is too long i bet.
Driving?? headaches!
Fly? Websites?
