An employee of a bank in Manheim Township stole $24,000 from one customer's bank account and tried to steal $15,000 from another, police said.Police said they believe that Elvys C. Piccirillo, 36, formerly of Hitching Post Lane, then fled the country to the Dominican Republic. A warrant is out for his arrest.
Piccirillo manipulated the bank accounts of two customers to remove money without their knowledge, police said. He did it when he was employed as a customer service representative at Citizens Bank, 1415 Lititz Pike, between January and May.
Piccirillo made purchases and cash withdrawals totaling more than $24,000 from one customer's account using a debit card, police said.
He tried to take more than $15,000 from another customer's account, but the suspicious activity was noticed and reported to the bank, police said. That transaction was not completed.
Piccirillo has been charged with: dealing in proceeds of unlawful activity; two counts of identity theft; four counts of theft; forgery; and three counts of access device fraud, police said. A criminal complaint was filed with District Judge David Miller.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Manheim Township police at 569-6401.

that's the difference between Americans and Dominicans stealing money.
Americans only steal what they need for themselves
Dominicans steal [in the millions] for themselves [of course], their lawyers, bribe judges, prosecutors, their mistresses....
