Just wondering if the all-inclusive hotels (like the Wyndham) in Puerto Plata have passes where you can spend the entire day enjoying the resort and food without spending the night. If so do you really save any money by doing this?
I normally go to Sosua but was thinking this would just be one more thing to do
while in the area. If this is available, does anyone know the time that the passes can start being used...6 am, 7 am, etc. and when you would have to leave.

They do, we've had day passes at Viva Wyndham - can't remember how much we paid but it was dirt cheap (I got my husband to get them otherwise they would've been more for me). I do remember that for my step-son it was around 400 pesos but not sure for us.

As far as I know all hotels in Playa Dorada have day passes.

The Iberostar have a day pass from 10:00 to 18:00. The cost was US$44 each in May of this year.
