Hi
I used to live in Juan Dolio back in 1990, I am planning a trip before the end of year and I was planning to carry my kite stuff, I am a kitesurfer now (before I was a windsurfer and I had a school, first, in Punta Garza and later in Tamarindos Hotel), the questions now:
-How broad are the beaches? I heard there were some hurricanes since I left
-Which is the broadest part of it, (a kite/lines need 25-30 mts of space)
-Have you seen anyone kiteboarding on the area?
You can mail me to flyman62000@yahoo.com
Thanks for your advice

The beaches were all upgraded and widened around 5 years ago with sand brought in from Catalina Island. They are all very very wide from old Juan Dolio all the way through to Club Guavaberry, so no worries on that score. Have never seen anyone kitesurfing though.
