    Default Hiding a phone number

In the United States, if you want to call someone by either cell phone or land line, yet hide your number from their caller ID so it appears as "Private" or "Unknown", you dial *67 and then the number.

To hide your number when calling someone in the DR, is it the same or is a different series of numbers used?

I only have CLARO cell phones, that works with them!
I can only guess it works with the other carriers.

I just called my home phone (Claro) with my cell phone (Claro) using

    *67809xxxxxxx

and it works, the caller-id shows: Private Caller

Perhaps you have your home phone set up to reject Private Callers!

Most cell phones have a hide/show number option under settings...
