I have a simple 1.0 Protrace converter that is in dire need of a doctor.
It's temperamental and whiny and needs some tender loving care to get back on it's feet.
It doesn't have medical insurance so I will foot the bill.
Seriously though, when the energy goes off, it takes a dump.
Batteries are checking out fine. So if anyone knows of a good inverter doctor, hopefully my good friend won't pass away and he'll be full of life again.....

I'll bet a new 1.5 won't cost much more than putting embalming fluid into the rotting corpse of your old friend...;)

Maybe time for a eulogy and trip to the nursery.

Any recommendations, PriceSmart or ?
Anybody better than others with warranty coverage?
Inverluz.

They have a store in Santiago on Padre Las Casas between Bartolo Colon and Estrella Sadala, just a couple of blocks from Sadala. I think the store is called "MegaTone".

They manufacture a very good line of inverters and service others. I have a 3.5 bought almost exactly one year ago that has perfromed flawlessly.

Consider a larger one. The additional cost isn't that much.

I made a thread about then last October, I recall.

My son says he can get it fixed, too. I told him AZB is the MAN when it comes to inverters. So now you have two choices.

Me? I'd go with AZB....

Take your pick...AZB probably is the right guy for this type of thing. He has helped me in the past.

barry, give me a shout.AZB

A shout, I am screaming so loud right now, the energy was off again until about 20 minutes ago (all night), the house and street were in total blackness and I couldn't even see myself think. You really need an inverter here if for no other reason.....lights, and fans so you can sleep.

Unfortunately, AZB probably won?t be available until at least Saturday.

I have some left over Birthday candles I can sell you cheap, $5 U.S. each.
