Mike I is having a birthday tomorrow, October 1, and he will be half a century old!

If you don't think you know Mike, he is the guy who usually posts after 11 p.m., writing about needing lemons, or eating at a decent (or not so decent) restaurant, or getting a meal and a movie, or treating the shoeshine boys.

He has made us all laugh at one time or another. Let's wish him a happy 50th birthday, complete with a U.S. Prime Reserve porterhouse steak from Omaha Steaks!

Wish I was as young as you at just 50, Mike. My next one is the big 60 so am envious but also wish you a super day for your birthday so have fun xxx

50is the new 40. It ain't old by any means.

And Shirley, 60 is nothing. At 60 you ought to be at the top of your experience game.

Many great things have been accomplished by folks over 60. Just remember: when you "retire", that's when you start dying...
