I don't see my first car in this list either; Auto Bianchi / Elegant.
I was a teenager by the time but I'm pretty sure that some of theses car are still running in DR.

Dude, that is a CLASSIC first car!!!
It looks like a little Fiat my grandad bought in the '70s
    Well done!!!!
    Is it air cooled?

I have never seen one - but remembering another thread, I have seen plenty of Wagoneers (SP?) But that is more of a "last car".

    Again,
    Nice vehicle!!
    That cheered me up.

AutoBianchi manufactured by Fabrica de Automobiles Torinos (FIAT) was equipped with same engine, front and rear train as "Fiat 127" built in four cylinders 950 CC / 70 HP & 5 speeds manual transmission, the AC system is the black plastic box inside the hood that connect to the plastic vent attached in the outside, you have to drop an ice bag in it so that when the air pass through get cold .
Autobianchi Abart come with a dual carburetor what make this faster than the Elegant, theses small cars "Caja de fosforo" (machtes box) as called in DR in the 70s goes up to 160 km/h.
Theses vehicles are cooled by water..
the good about theses Italian cars is that they run up to 60 km / gl. gasoline
