Hola a todos. I've read some threads here and a couple other sites about selling property in the DR. Not clear on what statements a POA should state to protect the seller who can't be there in person to do the deal. Anybody have an example to share? I've never seen a POA from a lawyer in the DR. Gracias.

Just make sure your POA is onlly for the purpose it was intended. If for a closing on a property make sure that it states that the closing will only occur AFTER you have recieved, read, and agreed with (by writing or email) the documents to be signed. Also make sure the POA expires immediatly after the papers are signed.
