In the last few weeks the DR government and private sectors have posted or hired foreigners to help the country's electric and tourism problems. In my opinion, if the government had made the effort years ago integrating the large Dominican community those resources could have been from our DR living abroad. Present and past government have not demonstrated any interest on integrating professional Dominicans living in other parts of the worlds, many of them with high degree of education, training, and eager to help their country.

I personally know of many professionals that if call, the will help. I'm referring to professionals with the same or even higher level of education and background than those hired to lead the electric divisions. Why DR does not tap into its own resources outside the DR?
