this may be irrelevant, but my computer keeps picking up viruses from this site, i thought i would let it go, but 2 weeks later and a seriously ****ed computer, my good conscience told me to post a WARNING!

seems like this is the problem?

systemtotallytree.co.cc - it appears to be a forbidden webpage. but it's still harming my computer.

not intended to be spam or irrelevant, just thought i would let you know before there are more complaints and bills to the DR1 office :-D

Its popping up here also since a good week. I and some others reported a spammer and since then we get a warning that this site should be entered carefully (red screen).

I got a file download notification earlier today, right after clicking on a dr1 thread title. I hit "cancel" so don't know whether it's lurking anywhere. The file appeared to have an unfamiliar format.

I think longer than that, for quite awhile now half my posts seem to disappear.

Nooo Barry,
Your disappearing posts have nothing to do with a computer Virus on DR1,
that's just Chiri Deleting Your Inappropriate Content, he he.

seriously, Guys,
how your Virus or fantasma encounters show exactly up on the Screens?
what message sgows up?
does your Antivirus warn you that an active -x will run or ...???

sure Robert will chime in soon.

good luck
Mike

btw,
in case anything strange with the 'puter starts to happen, like running a program not wanted or what so ever, hit that "Button" and shut it down.

Red screen pops up
When you go to Google Safe Web browsing it warns you for 7 Trojan Horses and it says DR1 as infected 67 domains over the past 90 days.

Exactly same thing I'm getting it. Obviously I'm ignoring, but am starting to wonder. Robert?

nothing out of the ordinary... DR1 is a public board and therefore wide open to attacks...

having said this... DR1 should react, and all members should scan their comps

Er.... seems to me that if you stick your 'browser' somewhere questionable without protection then you will have probs....

DR1 seems clean to me.....

No problems here either.

But I have AVG Advanced and don't go to *questionable* sites.

We have 3 different virusscanners, amongst which AVG advanced, and still get the message...

Am glad to hear CB does not visit questionable sites, neither do we, and we know who visits which sites here...

Roberts report is probably true, but better to take unnecessary precautions, then to be sorry afterwards
