Are there any free programs (government or non-prof) on the North Coast (Montellano area) that help adults who can?t read or write?

If anyone knows of a program like this, please share any information about how to contact.

Thanks

I don't know about the north coast, but my mother-in-law taught that program for years for the government. Some of her students became members of the legislature and business owners. She even worked in the batays. It's never too late to learn to read and write.

Anyway the program was called Alfabeticion de Adulto

Adult Illiteracy Programs?": I know what you mean but in this country with a 67% functional illiteracy rate, we really do not need to teach it!!! It was a good giggle!!

Yes there are adult LITERACY programs. In schools at night and in churches and other community organizations.

Now, if we can just get our posters..... Nah! Whytake the fun away??
