Transportation from SPM to JD after dark?

Are there any buses, taxis or gua guas that run between JD & SPM in the late evening? The reason I ask is because I like to go to Las Estrellas games & check out Malecon afterwards but have always had problems getting back to JD.

I'm not brave enough to rent a car when I visit & would prefer to leave the driving to others. JD offers better accommodations for larger groups but SPM is where I prefer to spend my days & evenings.

Any suggestions?

i have used a taxi many times,, i use the same one,, and he is always polite eager to pick me up any where i need him too,, i usually stay in JD and go to SP every night, (going in i take the gua gua) it will cost you 400-500 pesos to get back by taxi, but i trust this one, and even tho i speak no spanish and he no english, its fine,, just make sure he knows where you are going,, if you want pm me and i will give you his name/number.
