After trying so hard for two and a half years to get the Theatre Company regularly performing, sad to say we now have to give up.

Just when we were well underway with our next Production's rehearsals, and the Author offerd to come over to see the Play and give free acting masterclasses, once again we lost one of actors and as no-one came forward to any our pleas for new members, we finally had to accept this is never going to be.

Such a shame when so many people were keen for the Theatre to become a regular happening.

It seems such a pity that no-one answered our calls when we asked for more support, out all all the people on the north coat.

I really hope one day it start up again, and I know that our actors and crew will give it the support it needs, let's hope others do too.

Before anyone decides to spend time, energy, $, you are supposed to do do some marketing research, because if you fail to plan..

Mike, the theater company has been in existence for some time, with more than a few productions under their belts. In addition, it is not a for-profit business, but rather a means to raise funds for charity.

Furthermore, it is not a lack of theater-goers that is causing them to stop their most recent play. It is because of a need for actors.

This particular theater company has done a lot of good work, both in terms of well-received plays, and in terms of money given to various charities.

Get with the program, Mike.

Please know, Judith, that your efforts did not go un-noticed here on the North Coast. We have benefitted from people such as yourself who have worked hard, then given proceeds to non-profits.

The North Coast does have lots of drama queens. We also have plenty of villains. But sometimes, heroes and heroines such as yourself are hard to come by.

You did well. Take a bow!!

I am disappointed for you. I will be down in Cabarete from Jan to end of march and was looking forward to seeing your production.
I am living in a small town in Ontario and the little theater group here has the same people cast in multiple roles for a play. It seems to work just fine. Just a suggestion.

The North Coast Players had a Musical Theatre Review in the works for this December and after looking for 2 months to get a Theatre for a venue to no avail, we had to cancel the production.

Theatre is not dead ...yet!

Hallelujah! Thanks to such things as Forums, we now have an actress appear out of the woodwork and it looks like we have saved the Day.

So please diary February 25th and 26th to come support us for our Stage production of:
"Who's Wives are the Anyway?" A farce by Michael Parker.

Tickets 350 pesos - same as last year.

Michael Parker will be here on the morning of Sunday 27th to hold a Master Class in Comedy Acting and Play writing. Let us know if you want tickets for this, the Sunday morning of that weekend.

So for all our supporters, thanks very much - and for those who aren't yet...come see us and make your mind up then!
