Sosua or Boca Chica?

A few buds of mine and myself are planning to make a trip to the DR; however, we cannot decide on where exactly to go? Both of these cities sound fun, but narrowing it down seems difficult without direct contact with someone who knows the area well.

Which towns have more scenic beaches and a nightlife that would cater to men in their early to mid 20s?

Fly into Puerta Plata and go to Sosua. There are nicer beaches and a good nightlife. Cabarate, which is not far, also has many bars & restaurants, catering to a young crowd. Avoid the all inclusives. Most will not allow "guests" in the room. Have fun.

If you just look at the 2 towns of Boca Chica and Sosua, they offer a similar "experience" for a group of young guys, but IMHO Sosua clearly offers more quantity and better quality of both beach and "night life". The advantage of Boca Chica would be it's proximity to the capital and all that it has to offer.
