Cost to change matricula

Need a ballpark figure on the cost to change the Matricula into my name.
I heard some crazy figures like $10,000 RD and "that it depends on the year of the vehicle."

Has anyone done this recently that can give me a clue as to what to expect.

I have the Denuncia de Transferencia (sp) form and know where to go in P.P. to change it. Just want to be prepared.

I did a search and couldn't come up with an actual price.

The transfer of title fee/tax is based on the value of the bill of sale, go to this link at DGII (Direccion General de Impuestos Internos) website, there is a calulator on the page where you enter the value declared in the bill of sale and the cost is automatically calculated for you.
