I posted last week in the "Living" section about the DREAM Project Christmas Pulga, this Friday, Dec. 3rd. I didn't know there was a separate forum for Community Support...very cool.
Anyway, this is their annual Pulga (flea market) to benefit the library at the Dream Center in Callejon de la Loma, Cabarete. The Pulga itself is primarily for the "locals" who live in and around Cabarete... a chance for them to buy used and new clothes, household items, toys, etc. for their Christmas gifts, although of course, it is open to everyone. DREAM is looking for donations of items to sell...great excuse to clean out your closets!
The Pulga is on Friday Dec. 3rd, they ask that all donations be dropped off at the center by Thursday, Feb. 2nd, so they can be sorted and organized. I am in Santiago this week and will be happy to transport anyone's donations who can drop them off to me by Thursday (I'm in Los Jardines).
