Bavarro Grand or Palace

We are travelling h(my sister, myself and my two teenage sons)to DR on April 20. We have resos at the Grand but heard the Palace is nicer. Can anyone help, I can change my reso now its not too late.

Also, is there alot for my kids to do there?
