Are there in Santiago , live U.S. type Jazz Band Clubs ?:bored:

If so, can you provide addresses and days they play ?

If not, how about Blues Clubs ?

Blues? No.
Jazz is played every Monday night at the National Theatre in Santiago. Address? Across from the Monument. They set up around 8 and start around 9. Its free with a cash bar.
And its not necessarily US style jazz more like Latin jazz. Arturo Sandoval, Eddie Palmieri sound.

I don't think it is free. I went a few months ago and paid 100 pesos entrance free. Overall, I great way to spend a monday night.

You can go to Palermo on Calle 2 off of Texas Ave in Los Jardines, just down from the fancy eateries. Maybe three short blocks from the Hotel Jardines? On Tuesdays they have Jazz Nite...good people go there...

They also have the best authentic Italian sandwhich here in Santiago.
