RESTAURANTS NEAR JUAN DOLIO/BAYAHIBE

ALTHOUGH WE ARE STAYING AT THE 'SANTANA BEACH' ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORT WE WOULD LIKE TO EXPERIENCE A FEW MEALS OUTSIDE THE HOTEL AS WE'LL BE THERE FOR TWO WEEKS. CAN ANYONE SUGGEST KID-FRIENDLY RESTAURANTS IN THIS AREA WHERE THE FOOD QUALITY IS GOOD. I'M A BIT CONCERNED THERE'LL BE MORE CHANCE OF GETTING SICK ON THE FOOD OUTSIDE THE HOTEL. Santana is a long way from anywhere you want to go. 1/2 hour to La Romana and 1.2 hour to Juan Dolio. From what the people told me when we stopped there to pickup for return flight you might want to eat elsewhere. Two poor girls hurled for the entire ride to the airport and for 1.5 hours while we waited for flight, and just about all the way to Toronto in the rear lav on the plane.
