just my opinion, i think them designs are awful, i myself am an avid graphic designer,

but i do this as a hobby,

fair play if he wins.

Blackrainbow, cool if you are a graphic artist, and we appreciate you posting a link to your work.

But there's no need to bash a fellow artists' work.

Cobraboy-how do we vote? Do we just send in a comment stating the design in question is the one we would prefer?

I think you choose the # of stars and add comments.

I voted for the one I thought was best rather than voting for someone I was asked to vote for- what a radical idea

JR-ballot stuffing on behalf of a DR1 member so a cat can get a free paintball gun with his design on it shouldn't be such a moral or ethical outrage.

Your civic sensibilities will recover from this grand trauma, I'm sure.

i have no problem when someone tries to help others
it's actually commendable...:)

but shouldn't talent win out in a FAIR contest?
asking someone to check a friends drawing will definitely give him more opportunities but picking because he;'s a friend of a friend totally negates the actual contest...he should win it on merit...
and if i had a choice it would definitely be #2..balances out the gun better :)

the point i was trying to get too (jrhartley and woofsback).

Just my social skills aren't all that great, haha.

Robert, i apologise for my link, but its not commercial, and its not spam.

after all this is general chat, and we are generally chatting about art.

on that point, i love how the art and culture of DR are so intertwined.

What the hell is a fair contest- almost all contests are popularity contests. If you look at two designs and find two rather equal, wouldn't you vote for a friend or aquaintances.

Dye is huge in the PB biz.

To have a Dominican win the design contest would be neat.

I find the veiled moral outrage over a PAINTBALL GUN DESIGN-a contest structured to drive eyeballs to a website-rather humorous. Some of you guys need a recalibration.

And BTW-the graphics appeal to a testosterone-excessed young buck and to us old guys are quite different...

Vote for one of his designs! Bring home the winner to the DR!:ninja:
