Question foreign drivers license

Hi
If i am a national of country x ( i don't have a drivers license for this country )

I am a resident of country Y (i live here and have a license)

can i use my license from country Y to drive in the DR

hope you can help!

I have the same situation with my bike license.. so would you kindly apply your answers to riding a bike in the DR as well

Yes, but if you overstay your tourist visa then technicaly no, but it's not that big of an issue

If you do not have a cedula, a Dominican drivers license, good insurance with the casa de condutor coverage, and you are in a accident where a Dominican is badly or fatally injured, then it will be a VERY BIG DEAL!!!
