Hi all,

I would like to know what department and if possible a phonenumber, for the department that issue passports in the city of Santiago.
It's about a dominican passport.

Besides that, is it possible to hold a passport and a cedula?

Passports are issued in the Huacal, the large building at the corner of Estrella Sadhal? and 27 de Febrero. They do not do phone interviews. It would be a waste of time.
You have to have a c?dula to get a Dominican passport. You also need a birthcertificate.

Still workin on my Espa?ol.

If she would want her children in her passport too, I presume she would need birthcertificates for them as well? Or more ?

BTW was told a new passport would cost about RD3000, that's correct?

Huacal is what we call the Office Building located at that place. Huacal means empty bottle case (since the Dominican popular word for a government job is Botella/bottle)

If you are buying a passport for a girlfriend, DON"t...she will not get a visa.

Anyway, all Dominicans know where to get a passport. Don't be a sucker.

And it is not RD$3000....And even if it were and she does not have RD$3000 where is she going to get the airfare? or establish her bonafides to the consular agent....it's a scam...
