It's well known that the protection racket is serviced by the police and military. The Cotui DNDC detachment must have stepped on someone else's territory. Competition is not allowed in this business.

if this country turns into northern mexico we are all doomed.....the big stink in NY right now is the 25 top brass in the state police were all given raises of 20,000$ a year on top of their 150,000$ a year salary, meanwhile others that work for the state are being laid off due to a shortfall in the budget...........

Each "punto" pays about 30k pesos a month of which the colonel or general in charge usually gets the largest cut.
