Metal Rolling/Retractable Security Blinds

Good Morning,

I'm not sure I'm using the correct name for these. I've seen them occasionally here, but more in Europe.

These are metal security blinds which are retractable and cover doors and windows. They would go on the outside of the house.

Does anyone know where these are available on the North Coast or anywhere in the DR? Also, if you have any idea of cost that would be great.

but the one I could not remember is Diplan in Licey al Medio 809 247 0002 & 247 0103

Diplan are the most famous in the area and Puertinsa is growing..

in the U.S., florida especially, they are called hurricane shutters. some come with very good locks and i've also seen them operate with a remote control.

You can get them with all the bells and whistles also. Most I've seen are chain driven..
