Fire in Boca Chica

Someone sent me photos from a fire in Boca Chica. I think it was at a place that used to ba called "Bar Austria".

Does anyone have any information on the fire?

No injuries only material damage. Lucky it didn?t happen in the weekend when the Harley guys from Santo Domingo have their toys parked in front.

Holy crap!
That is where I thrash them all at pool relelntlessly!!!

That is very sad - the only decent bar on the strip and my favourite DJ too!

If you trash the owner in pool you are a very good pool player. I'm sad to see that the place burned down. I really liked this bar. The owner and wife are really nice people.

Looks like the old Route 66 bar further west on Duarte, couple doors east of the old La Criolla . Will probably become another Italian joint!!
