AeroDomca runs regularly scheduled flights from Las Isabella Airport in Santo Domingo to El Portillo in Las Terrenas. I believe they leave SD at 10AM, 12 and 4PM. I believe you can charter a plane from Las Americas SD into El Portillo but the price is very expensive. You are better off to rent a car and drive to Las Terrenas which is about 2hrs and 15 min. Aero Domca does have return flights from Las Terrenas into Las Americas. Check there web site.

There are flights from Santo Domingo to El Portillo, but not from SDQ. They are from the Higuero airport, JBQ.

Keep in mind that with the construction of the new toll road between SD and Samana, that trip by ground transport is no longer the marathon journey it once was.
