I am hoping to spend New Year's Eve 1999 in Santo Domingo. I do not need a place to stay, but friends of mine from NYC and London do. They are checking on deals with both aifare and hotel included, but are also considering the possibility of booking the flights and hotel separately. Does anyone have any suggestions about hotel accommodations in the city during that time, or any information about availability and price during that time? Are things already getting completely (over)booked and sold out like in other cities. Any suggestions and/or information would be welcomed and appreciated. Thanks.
