Comparing Dreams Palm Beach and Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana

A friend of mine is trying to decide between two AIs for her honeymoon - Dreams Palm Beach and Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana. The Preferred Club Honeymoon Suite at Dreams is about $1,000 cheaper than the Standard Jr. Suite at Secrets.

Has anyone stayed at both these hotels and can offer any help?

I've stayed at Dreams Palm Beach in a beautiful suite in the preferred club, but don't know anything about Secrets Cap Cana except that the hotel looks great on their website.

Worlds apart really, Secrets Sanctuary is an adult only resort, whereas Dreams Palm Beach is more family oriented. Secrets Sanctuary is Gorgeous and more secluded and romantic, but has alot less going on.

At dreams you can escape outside and enjoy a bit more life and entertainment.

It is really a matter of personal taste, nothing wrong with either.

If they want to have a lively, fun honeymoon - Dreams Palm Beach

If they want to be truly pampered and lie on the beach and hold up in their room at night barely seeing a sole and real privacy - Secrets Sanctuary
