How much money?

Ill be staying in Santiago.
Ill be at my friends home. So i wont need a hotel.
Im just curious if i stay a week how much money will i need.
for food
shopping and having fun
how much are things in stores.
such as clothes, souviners.
Just things to buy
is there websites that show the stores?

I bring between 800-1000 for a week yeah i like to have fun but dosen't mean I'll spend it all.

That doesnt seem like much.
I probably wont spend it all.
But i will spend it on me and my husband :)
so i double that for two people :)

If you just need to survive for a week 1000 seems rather a lot. If you cook at home - 500 seems ample inclding entertainment. After that it depends on your defintion of fun, shopping etc - prices for those items would probably be similar to what you pay in the states.

Just use the same budget as you would for the same experience in the US, prices don't vary that much, not enough to be bothered about for a week. I'd bring at least a G each if you are going out partying, lapping up the touristy stuff. If you aren't doing all that then you won't need much. Usual back home living costs.

Really depends on what you want to do and how much you party. For some 200-300 and they are good others will spend 2-3 grand in same time period,really depends on you.
