So how is everything on the other side, been really quiet lately so I can only imagine all is good over there. No moaning about new changes, the new mayor making a half arsed effort at things etc etc etc.

So is it as chilled out and calm as I get the feeling?

Did the no single girls on the street after 10pm law go to plan?

how about no open end bars?

Most importantly, is it busy?

From my perspective it is calm.

Not busy, though, but this is not unique to Sosua. Cabarete restaurant owners say it is very slow there, also.

The North Coast is not having a good year for tourists.

There's still groups of middle aged sex zombies with pharmaceutically induced hard-ons wandering the streets.

Yes the Mayor's plan is working very well. You can park anywhere you want at night, especially on the weekends. As for the open bars, they're always open, and the seating is where ever you like. Still waiting for the parents and kiddies to fill up PC, maybe it will happen after they open a McDonalds next to Latinos.:cheeky: Haven't seen many gringas w/ their sankie partners sipping on some Barcelo. However, you can now see who the chulos are as they now have to actually work;) in escorting their chicas into the various discos.

La Roca was probably full because of it's Friday night buffet, which is the best buffet I've eaten at on the North Coast.

And the Italian restaurant has the best steamed vegetables in town.

Sosua Sat. night

Went to dinner with my wife this evening at las Canas. The place was packed. Got there a little late (8:30 PM) They had to get extra tables and chairs from ?don?t know where?. But finally we all got served. Non stop live entertainment and a good meal. Then PC in Sosua. The bars were packed. Politur were non present so pretty Haitianas were in town to complement a decent array of ?Dominican? chicas. Hit a couple of small bars that were doing great. We didn?t get up to Classico but Sosua Life (Latino bar) was rocking. Not an empty seat. The wife finally dragged me home ?Or was it the other way around? . Going to bed now, but I enjoyed my evening.
