As it is out first trip to DR, my girlfriend and I are somehwat cautious about experiencing authentic local food prepared by street vendors. We will probably confine most of our eating to the resort we are staying at. Can anyone who has travelled to Samana and sampled the local cuisine provide any useful feedback?
