Does anyone know how much it will cost me and 3 other guys, along with golf clubs, to go from the Iberstar Costa Dorada resort to the Loa Aromas golf course by taxi.
Talked to Jose Martires, who is the taxi coordinator at the Iberostar Costa Dorada. He says they charge RD$1,000 for the trip, and could do the round trip for RD$500 more. That is they would wait for you and return with you. You should renegotiate this once you get to the hotel. Didn't ask about the golf clubs, but you can negotiate this also.
Did Playa Dorado to Las Aromas, Jarabacoa and back the end of Feb. in a Toyota van. 4 guys with clubs paid $70US plus tip. total donation was $110US and both parties were happy. VERY long day though.
