Ana is excellent. I am not sure there is any other company around that does this....

I knew Duane well, I used to golf with him...(he passed away in 07)....but Ana is still running the show. Just curious, does Stanley still work for the company?

This would be a good recommendation.....(Ana)

My next door neighbor in Torre Alta had Anna & Co. dig a well for him about 4 months ago and they did not find water. Now I realize that their is no guarantee's provided, however be aware that you still pay regardless of the outcome! My neighbor was not a happy camper...

Thanks much for the information - I have unsuccessfully searched for an previous DR1 thread that i read which had the name of a drilling firm that did indeed have a guarantee clause - Was that Ana's firm prior to Duane's passing?

Ana and Duane were together for many years and the last few years before Duane's death she ran the company. She has simply continued and does a great job.

Ana get's my vote. They have found water in places that other drillers have given up on. Duane was a great guy, one of the best here. Fond memories BSing many times with him and Ana at Ronnies :)

They usually charge by the foot..... so its hard to estimate the cost of drilling.... you just start and wait until - or if - they hit water.
Then you know the cost.... 150 feet - or 193feet.... some can be 300+feet.

My experience???
I drilled a well... very close to my neighbor's whose was 185 feet deep and lots of water.

We got to 210 and found water.... Hurray!!
(Then we quibbled about the actual depth, because after we dropped the pump down there , we came up with a slightly more shallow number.

Anyway.... there was no water !!!!

It appears we tapped into a sort of "run off" situation.
Water only flowed into well after heavy rains... not a peramnent flow.

Two problems there.... not a steady supply of water.... and the Run Off water is quite dirty.

Money 'down the drain' ...so to speak.

Be wary of wells.... they literally walk around with a divining rod like you see in the movies.
