Shipping to Puna Cana

I want to ship a 15 pound box to Puna Cana from Ft. Lauderdale. What is the best way the ship?

I've never done it, but have been advised that using mailbox etc. office is the best way.

I'd say UPS or DHL..I sent a carpet to a friend in Punta Cana through DHL.
