Wow, massive, not related but Republic related, but it is of such huge magnitude I think it may deserve discussion.

The earthquake was 8.8 or 8.9 depending on who you believe. The tsunami is now on YouTube...it was massive and killed a couple of dozen..

We have talked about earthquakes in my classes, especially since Santiago lies on a fault line!! And just this week there were discussions inthe papers about this.
