It was great - well attended and very well organised. They worked hard to get a lot of good sponsorship from companies including Yogen Fruz, Gatorade, Supermercados Nacional, Banco Popular, Agua Alaska, Happy Birthday Gifts and more.
The organisers and helpers were up from 4:30am, some even earlier, and the runs (half marathon and 10k) started at 6am sharp. Once all the runners had crossed the finishing line there were kids' races in three age categories. Next year they plan their first full marathon.
