The fact that the authorities knew and sent him to ANOTHER school makes me want to throw up!

Is this typical of how the DR deals with child molestation? I've not heard of a lot of cases, is it normally swept under the rug and hidden, without prosecution??? [You would think that they've seen how well that worked for the Catholic church]:ermm:

The Catholic Church did the same thing for many years, until the stink got so bad that this was no longer possible. There have been many reports of priests being reassigned in the past rather than booted out.

The DR does everything that way.

How often have we read of POLICE being transferred?

Wasn't there a case about ten years back in the Sosua area where an ex-pat or tourist was killed by the victim's family? I don't know if it actually happened or was just a rumor.

Never heard about it. But if if they do the thing, let them swing.

I know of a case where the family of the victim settled with the molester for a sum of money rather then call the police!!! It was ALL ABOUT MONEY for the and nothing about this 12 year old girl! I was disgusted and appalled by the behavior of the family.

i think some people do not care. 12 year olds are having sex anyways, willingly and voluntarily so some families will brush the coitus itself and just think: no harm done so why not get some money out of it?

12 year olds have no capacity to give consent! It is rape and abuse of a child and no one should ever brush that aside. The man was in his 60's.

That is why the law is put in place to PROTECT children with no capacity to make those decisions.

The ramifications of a 12 year old and 13 year old having sex are far different then a 12 year old CHILD and a 60 something year old ADULT. The man should be skinned alive in my opinion. No excuses for this NONE.

Seems to me the child parents prefer $$$$$$$$$$$ than their child health. They should be skinned alive too
