I know some of the call center supervisors have tried it with some success. I have been allowed to listen to speaker phone conversations of Doctors asking for sex from "visitadores de medicos" in return for writing prescriptions of their products but I am told that has mostly changed to a straight kickback. I was told that it is prevalent in the drug industry here.

I guess the question, for a local woman to get a job, is it known within the local circles that she would probably have to perform a favor?

Is this a practice that is not talked about, but somewhat accepted as part of getting the job?

i.e. the applicant for the Dental Assistant position understands that an oral specialist is expected? Almost makes taking the time and trouble to get a good education and develop skills seem a waste of time.

Just curious ... but I do hope you're not asking this question because you plan to do a little "hiring" ....

I've heard of stories from female friends of mine that have gone to job interviews that take place in "non-professional environments" like restaurants, bars and clubs during off-hours.

When the women begin asking questions about the job requirements, they are dismissed and the interview glides over to the matter at hand-"what are you willing to do to get the job".

So when you see a surly cashier at a place of business, rest assured she has an attitude more than likely because she knows it's her turn to sleep with the boss that night.
