Rapeseed around Puerto Plata

Does rapeseed (yellow plant, see picture) grow around Puerto plata or even in the DR at all?
I haven't seen it in past trips but it is possible it is around.

i do not know but this is canola, right? for oil?
i have never seen but i only recognize it when it is in large amounts. it grows in poland and when i see a field i know it's canola. but one plant on it's own? i would never be able to tell.
and i have not seen canola fields in DR as of yet.

Canola is the same as rapeseed. The name was changed in Canada back in the 70's to make it sound more appealing and healthy. I would think it would grow up in the higher climatic zones near Costanza
