The 'El Choco' restaurant and the store near it ('City Market'?) on the road out of Sousa to Cabarete both sell German beers. Perhaps they can assist you.

There's a restaurant in Paraiso, Santo Domingo called Kitsch that stocks German beer. You could give them a call. I tried looking for their number, but couldn't find it. This is the number to the car wash next to it, they could give you the number to the restaurant itself. Good luck!

Maybe call the German Chamber of Commerce in Santo Domingo. They are located in the Colonial Zone. The first saturday of every month they have the German market there and they always serve Weizenbier.

Funny this should come up now. Last night I was having dinner at a popular restaurant run by a very nice German chap. They were out of Wheat or Weiz beer which he has always had. He told us the distributor was in jail and he no longer get it.
Now this is second hand informatin and I have nothing to prove or disprove this, it just was an interesting conversation.
