work opportunites for Brits in DR?

I have lived in the DR for 3 years doing different odd jobs.....career time I think?! What British companies or connections exsist here in this country?

Sorry thought I wrote back, just getting used to this thing. Im in Santo Domingo, and to be honest a job I can actually live off. I would love to work for a fundacion within aid, but I know these jobs are very limited (ones that pay at least). Ive heard alot about call centers, English teaching etc, but was wondering what else is out there really. My Spanish is ok, to be honest I understand alot more than I can speak, (due to going back and forth to the UK) but im working on it! So at this moment in time I would be more suitable for English speaking work.
