UK is 220/50 cycle isn't it? Here is 110/60 cycle ...bringing appliances/electronics is a hassle.

You are going to have some issues down the line.

Floor tiles? Cheap? Probably the cheapest on the North Coast is Deposito Ferretero in POP.
