What kind of powertools can I bring everytime I come to DR without being hassled about it?

I have a small assortment of stuff that I think would come in handy
and hate to sell at a yard sale for little or nothing
all used of course
lets say a wetsaw ,drills , sawsall ,small nailgun etc
can I get that through in suitcases?

Dirty and dusty, wrapped is old drop cloths, You might be able to bring a couple in with no problem...I would think that these tools would not spark much interest, especially if they are used.

good luck, we can always use more tools... (Tim, the Toolman, Taylor).....

Good tools are fairly expensive here so go ahead and bring them with you!!! HB calls it right - dirty and grimy will work....

I had someone that was doing some work for me here come into Punta Cana with a load of power tools to work with. They had him in Customs in Punta Cana for almost two hours. But we got him in with no duty at all.

As far as coming strictly as a tourist, who knows what they will want from you.

I have shipped in every power tool known to "Harborfreighttools.com"! NEVER had a problem.
I have them in a LOCKED trunk in my bedroom,OTHERWISE,the "Enquentan Duenos"("Find Owners") after they arrive at my house.

Love that term "Enquentan Duenos" SOOOOO true. I would make this one up too "Prestamo Duenos" Not sure that is grammatically correct but you get the drift....
