Because I am looking for doctors closer to Sosua than those I have gone to in Santo Domingo for many years, I asked my Puerto Plata doctor today for the name of the ophthalmologist that she went to an recommended. She gave me the name of DR. ARACELIS SANCHEZ at Centro Medico Bournigal in Puerto Plata.

There are two very good ones in Santiago:
Dr. Pedro Guzman in Corominas on Restauraci?n St.
Dr. Joe Asilis at Clinica Bonilla on Independencia St at the corner of Duarte

Does. Anyone know where the closest eye office to Cabarete is located?

If you're looking for a good ophthalmologist go to Santiago! Don't bother going anywhere around here. You're unlikely to find that doctors here have the modern equipment they have in Santiago. I went to see Dr. Jos? Danilo Ram?rez Cabrera and Dr. Asilis Mera in their HOMS clinic just a few weeks ago. For 1,300 pesos you get a top notch check up with excellent doctors. Dr. Asilis Mera's main office is at Clinica Bonilla.
