I wanna stay in DR for 6 months, but to stay i have to pass physics and chemistry with an A (i can do the test via internet and a webcam to prove its me, when i feel ready), to get ready i would hire a tutor in DR and get Adderrall or racematic amphetamine (speaking legal, from pharmacy).

Im a straight A student, but dropped out of physics to focus on other exams, im chasing A?s to try to get in to med school.

I dont like amphetamine or Adderrall, but with adderrall i would fix it in a month, and then have time to chill in DR without stress, without adderrall i might end up reading nursing school even tho im a straight A student.

For example i learned english without a teacher, whilst a kid, my parents dont speak english and its not my mother tounge, so you can maybe get a grasp that i learn quick.

I have dexedrine, but it doesnt help with focus.

Regards.

I havent ever seen Adderall/Amphetamine but I have seen kids prescribed Ritalin/Methylphenadate though. It is SUPER controlled. It must be prescribed in the DR by a physician with a special triplicate prescription pad, and I believe it must be reported to the DNCD, the national drug police. That said, if you go to a Psyciatrist with some sort of documentation of your ADHD you can probably find somebody willing to prescribe Ritalin/Methylphenadate.

I can agree with the above two posts. I called every Pharmacy in Santiago with no joy. Adderall XR is what one of my grandkids is prescribed for ADD in the states. I think you had better have your prescription done in the states and sent here...with a friend.

Let us know what happens, since I am sure there are more than a few of us that are interested.

Good luck with the exams.

from what i understand adderall is not sold in DR. ritalin yes. only by prescription, only from related dominican specialist (psychiatrist), only in few pharmacies, only with an ID (can be passport, i guess).

you came here to find a contact for your drug addiction? I call bullsht on the whole thing. you want to go to med school but you must pass physics first. So? What did people do before Ritalin and Adderol?

I dont get it. I listen to NPR alot, when people want to buckle down to write a book they check themselves into a hotel for a month and pound it out. Why cant you do that? Why cant you come to DR, pick a small town go there for 6 months stay in a hotel and do your studying? I d say from 5 am to 5 pm there are 12 hours of daylight where you can sit in that room all day and study. You wake up at 5, go running til 6 am come back, study for 10 hours til 1600, go run again and then smoke clove cigarettes and drink cheap wine for a few hours then study some more and call it a day. 180 days of that should put you where you need to be without drugs.

Never heard of amphetamine being used for ADHD here however supposedly it does exist in the country and is prescribed for weight loss. Your fighting an uphill battle with this one.

Just FYI, I dont have any first hand experience but it's what I was told by a professor of mine who works in the field. Honestly, it seems to have a lot of stigma attached, no idea why. Like HB said, bring from place of origin if it's a must for you or learn to live without. DR isn't the most receptive to this problem unfortunanently

It's speed. Yes, it's over-prescribed in the US because no one knows what to do with the kids who can't sit at desks all day long in expensive cell block structures and memorize **** on the blackboard. They get called ADHD or some version, and given adderall. It is HIGHLY HUGELY ADDICTIVE. It's speed, right? Also an antidepressant, and the closest thing to awakening you can get in this age. Until the side effects set in (and they always do). Student, my advice is to work through whatever you have to work through to study, even if it takes 5 years more. Adderrall will give you a habit.

You do realize this thread is over TWO years old?
The OP is probably dead by now on an OD of speed.

2 year old thread, but do agree that such drugs are way over prescribed for kids to make them more malleable.
