Nice reading. A friend of mine and I took this road in January of 1988 right after we were sworn in as Peace Corps volunteers. We went from San Jose de Ocoa to Constanza, spent the night and went back the next day. It was on a motorcycle we had borrowed from another volunteer and a nice experience. There were some amazing mountain/valley views all along the road. It was the only place in the country where I did not see houses for almost 2 hours of driving. There is also a monument up there where Camano was killed after returning from exile. It was cold enough in Constanza that I had to put socks on my hands at night while driving the motorcycle. Thanks Natasha
