Does anyone know if there is a eye surgeon [cataract surgeon] that you would recommend. Hopefully on the North side of the island

The only ones I would recommend are in Santiago:
Dr. Pedro Guzman
Dr Joe Asilis

Both have lots of experience, training overseas (Cornell Medical School and Instituto Baraquel respectively)

Both my wife and I had cataracts removed from both eyes by an excellent surgeon in Santo Domingo. But Hillbilly has given you names of two he recommends in Santiago, so that is your best choice if you want the surgery on north side of island.

If you change your mind, let me know and I will give you the Santo Domingo doctor I recommend
